New River Veterinary Specialists is actively hiring to add a Board-Certified Cardiologist, or Board-eligible Veterinary Cardiologist to our team.
Our privately-owned facility is located 25 minutes from historic Savannah, GA and 12 minutes from the beaches of Hilton Head Island, SC. NRVS is a brand-new custom built 15,000-square foot state of the art facility with a full in-house lab, 16-slice helical CT, 1.5-telsa MRI, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology suite, multiple ultrasounds, in house blood bank and component therapy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, full service sports medicine and rehabilitation department and a dedicated intensive care unit including long-term mechanical ventilation.
We are a privately owned VECCS Level 1 trauma center along with having 7 days a week in hospital Neurology and Critical Care coverage. The NRVS team currently includes 2 Internists, 2 Criticalists, 2 Surgeons (one who is Certified in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine), 2 Neurologists, 11 Emergency doctors, 1 Dermatologist, 1 DVM whose Practice is Limited to Diseases of the (Animal) Eye, 1 Oncologist, 1 part-time Cardiologist, an VTS-ECC & Neurology and an amazing teams of LVT's, assistants & CSR's. Our Internal Medicine service runs an active interventional radiology and interventional urology service completed with Holmium laser.

We offer a highly competitive salary with 25% production and no negative accrual. Four, 10 hours shifts and our benefits package includes CE, organizational dues/licensure, health & dental, supplemental insurance, Safe Harbor with 4% match, PTO, paid sick time off and pet insurance allowance.

Completion of an ACVIM or ECVIM approved Residency in Cardiology and ability to obtain South Carolina licensure.
