SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology, Cardiology | SLUCare is seeking a dedicated full-time (1.0 FTE) experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant.  The selected NP/PA will contribute to the expansion of our Cardiac clinic at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Prior experience in cardiology strongly preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with physicians.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
• Current certification as an RN/NP or Physician Assistant.
• Possession of, or eligibility for, Missouri RN/NP licensure or PA licensure.

Position Details: 

• Outpatient clinic environment, Monday through Friday, with inpatient rounding responsibilities.
• Independently manage outpatient visits-including new consultations and follow-ups-as well as provide chronic disease management in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmia according to scope of practice.
• Participate in an inpatient rounding rotation of 1:4 (one week every four weeks), requiring flexibility based on coverage needs.
• There are no nights, weekends, holidays, or call obligations.
